Our history

Welcome to Hiuka!

Hiuka was born from a trip we took to South Korea in 2024. It was the first time we had visited the country together. During the trip, we visited markets, restaurants and cafés; our route was guided entirely by food. That trip gave rise to an idea: to share everything we had experienced so that others could feel that same connection with Korean food and culture. We wanted others to be able to have an experience as good as ours. That's how Hiuka Magazine was born, a gastronomic guide that brings together the flavours, stories and people that made that trip unforgettable. We are currently working on new volumes of Hiuka, with the aim of bringing Korean culture closer to the UK. The magazine lives on in social media, where we share stories, food and moments that connect us to Korea.
